Chapter 30
Privet and Tigera Drinking

"Ah, I see you have returned to us again, my friend," Tigera Hissledorf said with a smile as he set down his mug. "This is the third morning you have sat at your stool so early."

The barmaid set down a cup of steaming tea in front of Privet, who accepted it happily. Although he had only known the man for a few days, he had already grown quite fond of his company.

"The only reason you know that is because you’ve been here every day as well," Privet quipped. "What’s the matter, business going slowly?"

"Ah, I lost my job," Tigera said, waving his hand dramatically. "Forty-nine is not fifty, and all that. You know how the merchant business is."

There was a crash and a bang that grabbed their attention. Privet and Tigera looked over and saw dozens of women, young and old, swarming onto the set. In their hands were home-made signs that had "Team Privet" written on them, and most of them wore ill-fitting t-shirts that read "Athlivet forever!" The girls squealed and shrieked as they ran up to Privet, pawing at his face and clothes with outstretched arms.

"Can we get some freaking security in here?" The director called out as he stood up onto his chair to avoid the mass of shrieking females.

"Ah, the price of fame," Privet commented as the women tore at his clothes, shredding his poncho to pieces.

"We love you, Privet!" a woman yelled above the crowd, and the rest cheered even louder.
