Queen Hazel in her Courtroom

The throne room felt dark to her as Queen Hazel pressed her royal seal into the hot wax. The scroll was quickly gathered up by two of her husbands and placed into the waiting hands of Lady Holly Cypress.

“Okay, like, I totally want you to move your junk into the vaults, m'kay?” The Queen announced, smacking her gum. Several of the courtiers present tapped their staffs in approval. As always The Queen's judgments were fair, but impartial, even to the point of being cold.

“Thank you, My Lady,” Lady Cypress praised. “I do not wish for disaster, but should it come I am grateful that our treasures will be protected.”

“You guys always do, like, such an amazing job, I totally envy how smart you are and stuff,” The Queen praised, twirling a lock of her hair. “We should totally have a makeover party, that would be soooooo much fun.”

"Forgive me, My Lady, but Mr. Norsoto has arrived," a male attendant announced formally.

"Oh, the big sweaty guy, why do I have to talk to him?" The Queen pouted.

Mr. Norsoto waddled in, looking quite out of place.

"You better not have left any of your crap behind," Hazel warned as she chewed her gum loudly.

"Yes, they have, sire, I mean, your worship."

"Don't talk to me, fatty," she commanded.

"I just wanted to thank you for allowing me and my staff to dismantle the recruitment office peacefully. I'm no spring chicken, you know. I know how these things normally go down."

No longer able to keep a straight face, Hazel burst out laughing. She covered her hands in embarrassment as the others applauded.

“I'm sorry, Hazel said between laughs, “I just couldn't keep it up.”

“All right,” the director said. “that was fun now let's do it for real.”
